On Board With the Mission!
Good day, my friends! It is time to introduce our studious set of members, dedicating lots of hard work and time to make the production run smoothly!
We begin with our lovely director, Erin Kim! "The director is responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of a film, including controlling the content and flow of the film's plot, directing the performances of actors, and organizing and selecting the locations in which the film will be shot." (Wikipedia)
Next, our wonderful producer, Meghan Wang! "A film producer creates the conditions for film-making. The producer is involved throughout all phases of the film making process from development to completion of a project." (Wikipedia) In our case, Meghan will be editing and making the final video you will be seeing!
Talented artistic designer, Sally Fang! As artistic designer, Sally will be impressing everyone with her creation of our movie poster (coming soon!) and organization of props, costumes, and scenery for filming!
Our wise historian, Erika Kim! Erika will be thinking like a sociologist and analyzing the historical conditions of our setting.
Our fantastic linguist, Emily Nguyen! Emily will be working on putting together a soundtrack with songs as background music for our film! She will also be creating a dictionary of terms to help with your understanding of terminology from the Shakespearean era.
Our busy helper, Jin Joung, who will be working to assist all of us!
And your personal blogger, Verna Chang, keeping you up-to-date on our film as soon as possible :)

More To Be Divulged
Excited to hear more about this new project after our first post? Want a CLUE to our story plot? Well, for starters, this project was given to us by Scout Chung. He wanted us to create a new story line based on William Shakespeare's popular The Taming of the Shrew. For your background knowledge, The Taming of the Shrew, known as ToTS in short, is a clever satirical play written about courting and wooing styles. The two women, Katherine and Bianca, are courted in ways that may be unusual to many in the 2016 present day times, but it was not at all odd for Elizabethan times. Of course, our video is not just simply that! After many twists and turns, we are bringing a much more MYSTIFYING story! Picking up on what's going on? If not, all will be revealed soon! Stay tuned!
Warm Welcomes!
Hi! Welcome to Secrets of the Shrew, a new blog regarding the latest, hottest, newest video to reach town! We have been given the mission by Scout Chung to produce a new comedy. Although the title has not been confirmed yet, we have a completed script by our wonderful historian Erika Kim and are ready to get started. We hope everyone is as excited to view our production as we are to present it to all! Make sure to check our blog often for updates! Thanks for the support, and we look forward to creating something you will soon enjoy :)
